Problems

How to navigate. 
The tree structure in the section on the left of each page is the main instrument for consulting the contents. The titles are marked with a symbol with the following meanings:

Downloading images 
All registered users, are enabled to images download allowed in each products and components page (for components are availables only 2D images). For 3D download an added SABAF authorization is required as indicate here.

The following available:

• 2D Images.
  The images are available in .dxf format compressed in .zip files (download the free software here). On every product page, on clicking on the words “download 2D drawing” you will be asked (the first time only) to fill in the Registration Form and choose a User Name and Password (your identification data) which we suggest you note down. You will need these details in order to download images. So as not to re-digit them every time you download, we advise you to always use the same browser window. At each new browser session you will be asked to provide your identification data and, after checking, you will have immediate access to downloading 2D images without further authorization

• 3D Images
  The images are available in .igs format compressed in .zip files (download the free software here). In order to down load the 3D images a further SABAF authorization is required. On every product page, on clicking on the words “download 3D drawing” you will be asked to:
  
  a) Fill in the Registration Form and choose a user ID and password (your identification data that we suggest you note down) and to tick the option “Enable downloading 3D CAD images”.
  
  b) Send a fax to +39 030 6848249 on your company’s headed paper repeating the same data you provided in the on-line registration form.
  
  c) Sabaf will compare the internet and fax details and then e-mail the necessary authorization to the applicant.

SABAF nevertheless reserves the right to cancel the authorization at any moment and without prior notice.

Loss of identification data.
If you mislay your Identity Data (User Name and Password) you will have to proceed as follows:

• If you were authorized to download 2d files, send an e-mail to b2b@sabaf.it giving your personal details (Name, Surname, Company), indicating as the subject of the message “Lost Identity Details”.
• If you were also authorized to download 3D files, send an e-mail to b2b@sabaf.it giving your personal details (Name, Surname, Company), indicating as the subject of the message “Lost Identity Details”. 
• Within 2 days you will then have to send a fax on your company’s headed paper to +39 030 6848249 repeating the contents of the e-mail message to confirm your request.

Subsequent authorization to download 3D files after first registration
If you did not request authorization to download 3D files when first registering, you can do so subsequently by sending an e-mail to b2b@sabaf.it. You will have to include your personal details (Name, Surname, Company Name), your information data (User ID and Password) and indicate as the subject of the message “Authorization 3D”.  Within 2 days you will then have to send a fax on your company’s headed paper to +39 030 6848249 repeating the contents of the e-mail message so as to confirm your request.

Search
The search function can be used on the basis of 

• drawing number

• article description

• article group. 

The last of these refers to the details revealed in the expanded navigation tree (e.g. Standard, Composite, Triple Ring etc.)

Problems

Problem 1: 

After registering, you are unable to download files or on opening product pages you receive a Microsoft error massage (ODBC)

Solution 1:
Your browser (Ms I.Explorer or Netscape) must be configured to accept coockies.


Problem 2:
Typing your User Name and Password produces the message:
"(msg4) Invalid User Name or Password"

Solution 2
Please verify your ID details bearing in mind that they are case sensitive (small and capital letters should be taken into consideration).
